Paul Campey

Paul started his interest in sport and fitness playing county football, competing in athletics, rugby and kickboxing in his teens. This spilled over into an interest in weight training in order to improve performance in the ring… and in nightclubs. Ever since then Paul has been involved in Health and Wellness professionally. He has 9 years personal training experience and has been recruiting, managing and coaching personal trainers for the last 4.

 

Paul began his career in 1999 and quickly moved up the ranks in the large corporate health club industry working for Holmes Place and Virgin Active. He has since gained valuable experience as a personal trainer and coach to over 200 clients as well as a manager and coach to over 50 successful personal trainers.

 

He joined easyfit in June 2008 because he believes in the philosophy of training from the “inside out”. After studying NLP and psychology for 2 years, and gaining his NLP Practitioner qualifications, Paul knows we must nurture the mind and soul as well as the body’s movement and nutrition. This all round approach produces incredible results.

 

After years of working with all types of clients, from athletes to cardiac rehab patients, his passion and expertise now lies in helping people to get leaner, healthier bodies and build lasting confidence that will help them to lead fulfilling lives. Paul’s typical clients are ready for change and have a real desire to succeed in changing their body.

"When I started pt sessions with Paul, my whole out look on training was turned around. We didn’t just look at what training I needed to do but also my diet lifestyle and motivations. These where things I hadn’t considered, yes I tried to eat healthily before but there was no plan, it was very one day to the next. My first session with Paul was spent looking at my goals, amazingly being someone from a sales background I couldn’t believe I had previously not set any short/long term goals. Paul set with me a food diary and training plan and we started to record my sessions, progress and weight loss over the coming weeks.

At this point many people may have stopped but because I was training with Paul, new goals where set and we carried on. 11 months on I’m 14 stone and a very comfortable 34 inch waste, I feel amazingly fit and healthy.

 

I eat differently and train at least 4 times per week as a minimum. I never thought I could achieve surpassing my goal of 15 stone, I now enjoy the fact that my training gets harder in line with my fitness levels going up and we just keep re setting goals. I would recommend pt to anyone regardless of what stage they are at in there training, it really does make the difference through having a professional work with you.
