Rachel’s passion for health and fitness began at a very young age with numerous family walking and mountain biking holidays (see picture). Although at the time she would have been far happier playing on the beach, this was just a snapshot for how her life was to unfold. Throughout primary and secondary school Rachel took up every sport that was on offer, excelling in netball and tennis. With her own dedication and belief, along with the support of those around her, she eventually competed at regional level in both these sports as well as being honoured with colours and the Senior Sports Prize at School.
Rachel decided to combine her academic ability along with her passion for optimal health and study Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham. In her final year, Rachel sat modules in Sports Rehabilitation and Advanced Manual Therapy as well as completing an experimental dissertation researching common musculoskeletal pathologies. Since graduating, she has worked abroad in both summer and winter resorts running children’s activity camps. Rachel decided to combine her passion of health, exercise and rehabilitation by completing a Diploma in Sports Therapy with Premier Training International.
She strongly believes the key to achieving your goals comes from having a positive and focused mindset. Once you truly believe you can achieve something, you cannot fail. Rachel has the ability to provide you with all the tools to achieve your goals through the combination of exercise, corrective exercise, focused mindset and personalised nutrition plan.
