Personal Trainer - Tom Melody
| Tom Melody | |
Tom had a great interest in sport and fitness from the age of 6 when he began running for Chorley Harriers. This was enhanced by a love of basketball which started at the age of 9, despite his height! Toms highly motivated attitude meant he enjoyed great success in both of his chosen sports, the best of which was running in the England Cross Country Qualifiers in 2006 along with many other high profile races. A highly competitive nature brought him into coaching when he coached 5 basketball teams for four consecutive seasons.
The experienced gained from his sporting background meant that Tom was able to throw himself into the fitness industry in mid 2008 and he has never looked back. His career in fitness began at DW Sports Fitness in 2008 and he has continued to learn and develop his skills. It is the drive to keep learning that brought Tom to Easyfit late this year.
Tom is extremely passionate about helping people to reach their goals and believes that anyone can do so. He incorporates all aspects of health and fitness into a program to ensure all his clients achieve their potential and have fun!
Testimonials
My first experience of Tom was at DW Sports Fitness 12 months ago when a then nervous me sat down in the cafe area waiting for a program. I then heard a loud “Mr Hickson!” and Tom came bounding towards me with an enthusiasm I had never experienced from a member of gym staff.

"I used the word experience because it was exactly that! Not only did Tom put me through my paces but I didn’t know a training session could be so much fun. Ever since then Tom went out of his way to help me every time I needed him. With Toms help I got to my goal and gained much needed confidence."

"Tom helped me to get to my goal from the second I stepped into the gym. His never ending (and sometimes annoying) devotion to the sessions meant that if I was unmotivated, within 30 seconds my attitude had changed. His willingness to help and clear motivation made every penny of my gym membership worth it." Danny Patel |
